Area boarding facilities are reporting outbreaks of Canine Upper Respiratory Disease. This is typically caused by a combination of respiratory viruses and bacteria but does include the possibility of Kennel Cough and Canine Influenza.

We recommend limiting unnecessary contact with dogs in the neighborhood if at all possible during the upcoming weeks.

All the best, The team at AMC

Staying Strong For Your Pets

Staying Strong For Your Pets

The core of our mission is to be here when your pets need us—and now is no exception!

We’re doing everything possible to make sure that you and our team stay safe. Our business hours remain the same, but we continue our policy to limit the number of people in our hospital to 10 to help minimize human contact. We would like to also stress that if you are actively sick, showing symptoms of a respiratory infection, or have been exposed to COVID-19 that you please stay home ands call us at 571-434-0250 so that we can best determine how to help your pet.

Curbside Pick-Up and Drop-Off Appointments

Pets arriving for grooming, boarding and simple technician appointments will be handed off to one of our team members outside the front door. Please make sure your pet is on a leash or in a carrier. Call us at 571-434-0250 when you arrive, and a member of our team will meet you at your vehicle to do check-in, and then take your pet inside for his or her scheduled appointment.

If you wish to be present for an emergency or end-of-life care appointment or if you have a new puppy or kitten appointment where direct communication with the doctor is critical, you may accompany your pet in the hospital for their appointment. However, only ONE family member will be allowed in the hospital at a time.

Face Masks for Clients in the Hospital

At this time, we are asking that all clients who enter the hospital wear face masks or other nose/mouth coverings. If you do not have a face mask, you will be asked to transfer your pet to our staff at the door.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation with these new policies to keep you and our staff safe.

Pet Meds & Prescription Foods

Don’t forget to make sure that you have enough supply of your pet’s prescription food and medication for at least another 4 week home isolation situation. Please call us at 571-434-0250 or order directly through our online pharmacy

We know all the changes in our lives are a lot to take in, but just know we are here to serve you and your pets. Don’t hesitate to call us at 571-434-0250 if you have any questions or need to make an appointment.
