Our Hospital is Open With Precautions in Place to Keep You & Your Pets Safe
Updated November 19, 2020
With rising cases of COVID-19 in our area, our medical team is closely monitoring the situation and making the necessary adjustments to our operations to keep our clients and staff safe. At this time, our hospital remains open and is operating under regular business hours, but with restrictions.
Pets that arrive for all grooming, boarding and simple technician appointments will be transferred to an AMCC staff member outside the front door.
When you arrive for your appointment, please call us 571-434-0250 to let us know that you have arrived. Please also make sure that all pets are on a leash or in a carrier.
Those pets with appointments to see Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Lloyd or for more complex technician appointments may come inside the lobby where our staff will direct you to an exam room as quickly as possible. Only one person is allowed in the hospital per pet and masks are required.
If you are actively sick, showing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay at home and call us at 571-434-0250 so that we can determine the best way to accommodate your pet’s needs.
If your pet relies on medications or prescriptions diets, we recommend ensuring that you have enough supply to last through at least 2-3 weeks of a possible home quarantine situation. Please call us at 571-434-0250 or order directly through our online pharmacy.
We are here to serve our community and to help your animal companions stay healthy. As you know, pets are wonderful stress-relievers and we want to make sure we do all we can to assist safely during these challenging times.
Please don’t hesitate to call us at 571-434-0250 if you have questions or need assistance for your pet in any way. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we navigate through this process.
Stay safe and stay well,
The Team at Animal Medical Center of Cascades
