Area boarding facilities are reporting outbreaks of Canine Upper Respiratory Disease. This is typically caused by a combination of respiratory viruses and bacteria but does include the possibility of Kennel Cough and Canine Influenza.

We recommend limiting unnecessary contact with dogs in the neighborhood if at all possible during the upcoming weeks.

When I moved to this area, I thought I could never find a vet as good as my previous vet. But I just love Animal Medical Center of Cascades. I’ve been coming for three years now, and you can tell that they really love what they do. They take care of both the animals and the people who are worried about them. I’ve not met a vet or a tech or someone working front desk who isn’t wonderful. Special call out to Dr. Jones, Tucker, and Katherine, who took care of us today. On past visits I’ve worked with Dr Mitchell and adore her as well. She always has great advice and sees the holistic picture, doesn’t just treat a symptom. I have the highest regard for this whole practice.
