Area boarding facilities are reporting outbreaks of Canine Upper Respiratory Disease. This is typically caused by a combination of respiratory viruses and bacteria but does include the possibility of Kennel Cough and Canine Influenza.

We recommend limiting unnecessary contact with dogs in the neighborhood if at all possible during the upcoming weeks.

All the best, The team at AMC

When I moved to Sterling, I looked for a vet closer than the Ashburn vet we had been going to. AMCC was recommended. My dog had been in for a number of issues (she had seizures and a brain tumor). All of the staff and Dr. Mitchell were amazing with her. Most of the times I brought her in were for ancillary issues (eating a pair of underwear, not sleeping) and they always took her issues seriously, but still showed compassion and care.

My dog passed away recently due to complications from her seizures, and the staff sent a beautiful note that was not just boilerplate, but showed they knew the dog they were talking about.
