Mily is a dedicated member of the kennel staff at AMCC, where she has been working since November 2023. Originally from Falls Church, Virginia, Mily has lived in Loudoun County since 2013. Growing up in a Bolivian and Argentine household, she became fluent in both Spanish and English, which allows her to assist Spanish-speaking clients who may struggle with English.
At AMCC, Mily’s primary role is to ensure a clean and safe environment for all pets in the facility. She maintains the hospital’s cleanliness, organizes supplies, and supports the medical team with restraint during examinations and in preparation for lab and surgical procedures. With two years of veterinary experience, including roles as a receptionist, vet assistant, and sales associate, she brings valuable skills and knowledge to her position.
In addition to her professional experience, Mily is pursuing her studies as a first-generation college student at NOVA Community College, specializing in Mathematics.
Outside of work, Mily enjoys playing volleyball and soccer, often participating in leagues with her Bolivian community. She recently started following American football and is a fan of the Washington Commanders. Family time is important to her, and she also has a passion for Bolivian folklore dances, having performed both in Virginia and Bolivia as part of various dance fraternities.
